The barn we stayed in was well-equipped and clean, just as described in the database reviews. I loved the little extras like the lamps by each sleeping area and the phone chargers that were provided. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that the grounds and barns were maintained to a high standard. The location was also great, giving us the feeling of being in the countryside while still having amenities and attractions like Alton Towers nearby. The value for money was excellent, and I can't wait to come back. It's also worth mentioning that the barns are dog-friendly, which is a definite plus.

We recently stayed at a lovely little place that exceeded our expectations. It provided everything we needed for our stay and had a beautiful location with a nice field for kids to play in. The charming presence of chickens added to the overall atmosphere. The accommodation was split into two sections, perfect for families or groups. Each section had a designated seating area, separate toilet, and a fire spot. The barn itself was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with amenities like a heater, fridge, kettle, toaster. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Our children were especially enamored with the rustic setting and begged us to return.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the location was perfect, offering stunning views and being close to town for convenience.
Finding the designated barn and having the guest's name displayed on the door would have been more convenient. the strong manure stench upon entering the barn was unbearable, forcing us to leave.

We recently stayed at a lovely little place called Camping Barns in Leek and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Peaks, just a short 12-minute drive away. The barns provided basic but clean facilities, which suited our budget perfectly. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and the kids had a great time playing in the large field with our dog. The outdoor setting was really charming, with chickens walking around and cute seating areas to eat at. Despite being basic, the barns had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including comfortable mattresses and all the necessary utensils for self-catering.
There were a few small drawbacks to our stay. The shared showers and bathrooms meant that coordinating bathroom times in the morning could be a bit challenging, especially with a larger group.

Beds were comfy and the composting loos were easy to use and not at all smelly. Great location on the outskirts of town, close to a shop and convenient for walks in the Peak District or visiting nearby attractions like Alton Towers and Tittesworth Reservoir.- The firepit was a great addition and added to the overall experience.
There were some flying creatures at night, but that's to be expected in a camping setting. There wasn't much interaction with the owners, but everything was well-explained through laminated instructions.

The barn itself was well-equipped and clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the outdoor sitting area and the fact that we could have a fire regardless of the weather. The owner was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. And to top it off, it was great for dogs too!
